Life Skills Group provides a subscription service. By subscribing to our service, you have confirmed that you accept our Terms and Conditions. Your membership will automatically renew on a recurring basis at which time your credit card will be charged automatically for the subscription products, until you cancel your subscription. You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging in to your account, selecting Subscriptions, then clicking cancel next to the item.

Terms and Conditions

Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully as they are the basis upon which orders are accepted by Life Skills Group Online, ABN 76 623 792 085 (“The Company”) and its affiliated entities.

The terms and conditions set out below represent the agreement between the The Company and each teacher or parent/guardian (“Applicant” or “You”) that applies for a subscription and supersedes all prior discussions, correspondence and representations.

1. Subscription Term

(a) Online courses are offered on a subscription basis. Unless otherwise agreed, the start date of the subscription term will be the date that You first have access to the online course. Your subscription will automatically renew on a monthly basis unless written notice of cancellation is provided to us.

2. Taxes

(a) All prices quoted are exclusive of any applicable taxes

(b) Taxes, at the current rate, will be applied to orders for customers (You) as required, and You will be liable to pay them.

3. Price Changes

(a) All prices are subject to change without prior notice until Your transaction is confirmed. We reserve the right to increase Your subscription price with 30 days notice.

4. Discount

(a) If You have a discount code to be applied, this must be entered at the time of completing your transaction in the appropriate field on the order form.

(b) Discounts cannot be applied after payment has been made and the transaction confirmed in accordance with clause 6(a) below.

5. Payment

(a) Full payment must be received before being allowed to commence an online course, or services are provided.

(b) Payments made by credit card may attract a surcharge fee which will be advised as part of the transaction process.

6. Transaction Confirmation

(a) You will receive an email confirming your transaction once payment has been accepted. You will receive further details for accessing your subscription in a separate email.

7. Liability, Warranties and Indemnities

(a) Subject to clause 6(c) The Company makes no express warranties beyond those stated in these terms and conditions. All conditions and warranties implied by statute or common law, are to the extent permitted by law, expressly excluded.

(b) To the extent permitted by law, The Company excludes all liability to You for any loss or damage suffered by You or any other person however arising (whether in negligence or otherwise). In particular, The Company will not be responsible for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of any kind in contract, tort, under any statute or otherwise.

(c) Where the law implies any term into these terms and conditions and it is prohibited to exclude or modify such terms, The Company’s liability for breach of such terms is limited to one of the following options (at The Company’s option):

(i) the re-supply of the agreed services (or equivalent services); or

(ii) the payment of the cost of re-supplying the services (or equivalent services).

(d) Except where clause 6(c) applies, the total liability of The Company to You or any other person for loss or damage will not exceed in aggregate the total amount of the fees payable for the product/service purchased.

(e) Neither party will be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions to the extent such delay or failure is caused by events beyond its control, which includes a malfunction of any part of the internet or either party’s internet infrastructure.

8. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription per our cancellation policy, in which case the subscription will terminate at the end of the current billing period.

9. Intellectual Property

(a) The Company owns the copyright, trade marks and any other applicable intellectual property rights (Intellectual Property) to all content distributed via this website or throughout the course of a program or has permission from the owners of any applicable Intellectual Property to use their content. You are not permitted to reproduce or otherwise use the Intellectual Property unless expressly permitted to do so by The Company.

(b) The use of the training material in The Company’s courses is restricted to the registered user who has been supplied with the log in details by The Company as part of an authorised course.

(c) You are not permitted to reproduce or otherwise distribute any content in any form for either personal use or commercial gain unless expressly permitted to do so by The Company or the copyright owner as is applicable.

(d) You shall not permit anyone else to copy, use, modify, transmit, distribute, or in any way, exploit the copyrighted materials.

(e) The materials made available by The Company are provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, either expressed, or implied, including, but not limited to, all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title or non-infringement.

(f) The Company does not warrant that the materials will be error free including technical inaccuracies, nor free of viruses, or other harmful matter. The entire cost of any necessary service, repair, or correction, is the Registered User's responsibility.

10. Advice

(a) Any advice provided by The Company during the course of a consultation, program, event or as part of a marketing materials is by way of general advice only and is not to be construed as a recommendation. Any such advice does not take into account all individual circumstances which may affect You and any third parties.

(b) You are responsible for conducting Your own independent research or obtaining Your own advice before implementing any actions based on advice provided by The Company.

(c) Without limitation to clause 6, The Company shall under no circumstances be responsible for any damages or losses incurred by You or any third parties arising from the implementation of advice associated with financial purchases, business strategy or other learning related decisions.

11. Online Courses

(a) By accepting a subscription You agree that you will only provide access to the course for educational purposes to (i) students in your class(es) or (ii) your children or minors in your care (as applicable). 

(b) The Company reserves the right to refuse a provision of a course to any Applicant. 

(c) Subject to applicable law, You grant permission for The Company to use any audio, imagery and text, or part thereof, uploaded as part of Your course activities.

(d) The Company reserves the right to change the courses and course content at any time.

12. Privacy

(a) The Company collects personal information from You for the purpose of processing transactions for products and services.

(b) The Company will not knowingly disclose Your personal information to any third party unless permitted by the Company’s Privacy Policy or otherwise required by law or with Your consent.

13. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of that State.

14. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties regarding the subject matter contained within.

The Company is committed to safeguarding personal privacy. It recognises that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is collected and used. Providing personal information is an act of trust and it is taken seriously. Unless given consent to do otherwise, the Company will only collect and use personal information as set out below.

The Company will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent. The only personal information collected is what has been provided voluntarily. When providing this personal information, the user consents to this data being used for items outlined in Section 4 and 5 below.

4.1. Google

If you decide to register for Life Skills GO using your Google Account, we will request your Google profile information using OpenId Connect and basic profile information such as your first name, last name, email address and profile icon in order to identify you in our application. The information provided is used for authentication purposes only and the authentication id provided by Google is stored in association with your registration to improve your sign-in experience. 5. Using and disclosing your personal information


The Company does not sell Personal Information.  Personal Information will be used for the following primary purposes:

  • To fulfill obligations under any sale and purchase contract and/or any other contract between the individual and the Company.

  • To render services related to Company’s business such as warranty or after sales services.

For the purposes described above, information may be shared with Company’s group companies either in Australia or overseas. Also, in order to operate the web site or deliver a service, personal information may also be shared with a service provider, a non-Company group company.
